Test Footage.

It was very important for us to check the lighting of outside would work and what time we would need to film, this did create problems as it was winters and the darkness came early but we worked around it. The aim was for it to appear as night but still at the same point needing the quality of the shots to be clear to the audience. We also needed to discover wether ambient sound of the woods would create any problems for the shots.

It was hard to find somewhere where we could film with a fire in the woods, so we decided to film it in a garden. This meant we needed to test wether it still looked realistic doing so.

We took plenty of different angles in the interior and exterior of the car, we weren't 100% sure wether we wanted to use a POV shot or not so we decided if we tested a range of shots we could decide what looked best. We also found the lighting was of a low standard once we had filmed it.

We needed to make sure that not only the bed shot was effective but also safe as her head was very close to the bed. It worked out this shot was extremely effective.

As the woods covered a very large area we weren't definite on where to shoot, so we tested different area's. We wanted trees and an open area which we found. We also needed to test for lighting within the woods.
